The clearance authorisation

The clearance authorisation

The clearance authorisation is a key document in the customs process that allows the legal entry or exit of goods into or out of the country. This document is issued by the customs authority and ensures that the goods comply with the rules and regulations of the destination country.

To proceed with the clearance authorisation, you must log on to the AEAT website and authorise the customs broker to act on behalf of the importer and/or exporter.

https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/procedimientoini/ZP02.shtml

1.- Customs clearance authorisation. Formalities Registration of clearance authorisation

2.- Authorisation details. We must indicate the operator's VAT number, name/company name, authorised person's VAT number (in this case of the person who does the customs clearance), name/company name.

Type of authorisation, here we must choose whether it is only for one shipment, which means that the authorisation will have to be made for each shipment made, or global, which in this case only has to be filled in once.

Start date and in the option authorised territorial scope, all the administrations mark the option YES, so that it can act throughout the national territory.

3.- Once all these details have been filled in, the next step will be to sign the authorisation digitally and the assigned customs clearance agent will be able to carry out the customs clearance on your behalf.
