4th ALNA Annual Meeting – Nairobi, Kenya (2023)

Last October 8, 9, 10 and 11 we were in Nairobi, Kenya to attend the fourth ALNA meeting.

We have been members of ALNA International transport agent network since October 2022. This was the first in-person conference for us.

ALNA stands for Airfreight Logistic Network for Africa. It started 4 years ago after ALN (Africa Logistics Network) had some areas already covered and wanted to give other freight forwarders the opportunity to be part of the group.

We join this network of international freight forwarders to develop the African market.

Now with this network we are part of three global associations that allow us to have agents in almost all countries in the world and to be able to offer our clients door-to-door solutions.

The meeting lasted 4 days. In which the first day was registration and the welcome dinner.

The next three days were meetings all day except for the group dinner that was held at the end of the day.

On the last day, members could enjoy the company of the group in various tourist activities that were done together.

It is very important to be members of these associations to have good agents who can help manage our shipments from any origin or destination in a professional, fast and efficient manner.

The regulations in each country are different and having a local Partner makes it much easier for the logistics of operations to be agile and to anticipate.

Next year the meeting will be in Bangkok, Thailand.

We hope from this moment on, shipments to this continent will increase and we will have more presence in the area.
