An open top container is a 20 foot or 40 foot container that is wopen at the top and covered with a tarp whenever possible.
They are usually more expensive because there not many units on the market. They are used to import and export goods that do not fit in a normal container because the machinery is too high or is heavy and difficult to load using a crane
